R Lazy 6 Quarter Horses Mares
Our program starts with mares selected for proven foundation bloodlines, sound minds, and correct, conformation. We choose mares that are trainable, athletic, and well‑suited for western performance—especially cow‑horse and ranch work. We get excellent reports on their colts trainability and cow sense. These mares are steady, capable mothers that live in a healthy herd environment and raise foals that learn confidence, social skills, and how to be horses from day one.

This is our only living daughter of our favorite old mare, Boonsillionheir, whose only two we showed had NRCHA earnings of $13,000 with very limited showing and all the others proved to be very sought after working ranch horses.
By our own son of Paddys Irish Whiskey it is hard to fault her bloodlines. DeeDee fractured her knee as a weanling so is broodmare sound only. Her first foal, 2025, is a dandy gelding -- see Irish PV on the For Sale page.
